BMR1959 Doll Head Kira Face Friend Mattel Asian Friend Barbie Signature

In this listing we have the head from one of the first releases of theBMR1959 line. This head is from the Kira faced doll, I’m not sure if they have names other than from their outfits. This doll is really lovely. It’s great to see the Kira face back in the line! She has a lovely cream colored skin tone, black hair with brown streaks, lovely brown eyes, and purple lips. This doll was made in Indonesia and is free from head glue.
This doll is in very nice shape. She has never been played with, but she was briefly displayed then put into storage. Her hair is still in it’s original factory style. She does have some broken strands at the top of her head and her part line. There’s maybe about 8 or so hairs that are very short. Her hair is a bit thin, you can see some of her scalp and the plugs under the top row of hair through the top layer of hair. Her ponytail is a couple different lengths, and the top layer is pretty short, so it might be tricky doing different styles for her. She does have earring holes and her left earring hole is a little higher then her earlobe. Her face pint looks okay. She does have an issue in her left eye. She has a black line going into her eye from the left side. The white paint on that side of her eye looks a little… chunky for a lack of a better word. It looks like maybe there was an issue painting and they over painted it and didn’t do a great job. Her other eye looks good. I think her lips are a little crooked, they seem to go up on one side more than the other.The painting in her lips isn’t as crisp as it could be, it looks like the edges have some slightly sloppy painting. The right side has more issues than the left. There’s a couple spots of paint that went outside the rest of her lip paint. Most of the issues you don’t see unless looking up close at the doll. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of the doll.
