    Description

Beautiful 1875 CC 20-cent piece, ANACS graded F-15.
Here is a well-preserved 1875-CC 20-cent piece just waiting to find her new home in your coin collection.  When she was born in Carson City Nevada, Ulysses S. Grant was still president.  The Carson City Mint had been established just a few years earlier to mint coins from the flood of silver that was then pouring out of the mines on the nearby Comstock Lode.  Somehow this obscure little coin from that bygone era has survived undamaged to the present with only minimal wear.  She has now been graded as “F-15,” making her the “fighter jet” of 20-cent pieces.  (Sorry - bad pun.  At least you know this wasn't written by AI.)  The Red Book lists this coin at 0 in “Fine.”  The recent price realizations that I have found on eBay for similar quality specimens mostly cluster in the 5 to 0 range.  I will start the bidding on this great old survivor at just 9.95 so that you have a shot at an amazing bargain on this certified genuine coin.  Our lot no 443
