    Description

World War One soldier inscribed canteen. The one side reads I ?RA RAMEY. The other side reads BATT-A 53 D. The inscriptions look like they were done with the tip of his knife or bayonet. The canteen has the top and chain that hold it. The top has some numbers and letters punched into it. They look like D 5 and C 5 3. The canteen has plenty of dents and dings. It is as I purchased it from a Pa. estate. The pictures are accurate as to its condition.
