    Description

Age: 205-200 Million Years Old (Early Jurassic)
    Location: Connecticut River Valley, CT
    Ichnogenus: Grallator & Anomoepus
    Species: Unknown Theropod
    Slab Size: 20”x 11” x 1”
    Largest Footprint Size: 6”x 3“
This track has not been repaired, however I did add a layer of adhesive around the perimeter of the slab to stabilize the layers of rock as this comes from sedimentary rock layer that was quite thin. Totally safe from the threat of splitting apart now!
Recently and legally collected in private property along the Connecticut River Valley near Middletown, CT. This is the fossil impressions multiple Theropods (raptor) that existed some 200 Million Years Ago. The species that made these tracks is relatively unknown to science, but it can be said safely that this track was made by carnivorous theropods. These are raised impressions, which are created when sediment fills in an existing footprint and hardens into a separate layer of sedimentary rock within it.
This specimen has been lightly polished can easily be scrubbed back to its natural state.
