    Description

    6” Mess fork manufactured by HOLMES & EDWARDS (prior to becoming International Silver Co) in the Kings pattern for the United States Navy.  Engraved with Fouled Anchor on front and USN on back.   6” fork possibly used for dessert or seafood.
    I believe this fork would date to the late 1800’s.
