Antique US Army WWI ? Entrenching tool shovel not t handle straight handle

Description

This is an antique US marked military shovel. It looks simular to the t handle shovel, but it has a straight handle. If it was cut it missing there should be holes. Maybe the handle was replaced, or its a rare shovel. I have no idea. It all looks original to me, but im not expert. SOLD AS-IS NO RETURNS
Overall length is aprox 24.5" the handle extends 11.75" from the end of the metal to end of the handle.
