8" Hard Plastic Ginger Brownie Scout 1956-58 Cosmopolitan Doll Co.

Description

8" Ginger is hard plastic with dark brown sleep eyes, that open and close easily, molded lashes, and a curly blonde Raysheen wig accented with an orange bow.
She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips.  She is a walker doll but the mechanism is a little stiff.
She is wearing an all original Brownie Scout uniform consisting of a tagged (Terri Lee) snap-front brown dress, brown snap leatherette belt, and brown felt hat with the Brownie logo on the front.  The hat has some tiny thin spots, but they are not noticeable when the hat is on her head.
White lace trimmed panties have loose elastic in the waist, but they do stay up.
Brown socks and dark brown side-fastening shoes finish her look.
These dolls first appeared in the Girl Scout catalog in 1957.
The uniform was produced by the Terri Lee Co. under a contract with the Girl Scout organization.
