When family comes over to visit, the kids run right to this and ask to play
You've seen the arcade1up cabinets sold at Wal-Mart. They are tiny and have about 5 games on them. The kids will be bored with that in 2 hours.
This is a true arcade cabinet from the late 1980s. It has a Midway manufacturer's plate on the back. It has 512 games.
The nostalgia + the game variety makes for the most fun and best value.
A previous owner removed the original components and upgraded to a modern 19" monitor and game system
The games run on a Jamma 512-in-1 horizontal games system. It is also known as "Game Elf" which is the logo when the system boots up.
I attached pics of the first screen and last screen and a few inbetween to show you a sampling of the 512 game options.

The Game Elf system is super easy to operate. Just power it on and it boots to the game selection menu. I have it plugged into an outlet controlled by a wall switch.
The kids know to flip the switch up and the cabinet powers on ready to play.
The Game Elf manual is also available online:

This cabinet is set to free play (no coins needed), but it does contain a 2 player coin door & device.
However, I don't have they key. If you can figure out how to open it then it may be your lucky day!
There is a removable panel on the back in order to access all internal components. As a bonus, there are some vintage quarters rolling around on the bottom of the cabinet. I left them there in honor of the memories of arcades at the mall and pizza shops. To remove those quarters seemed like taking coins from a wishing well
When you get here, we will turn it on and test it so that you can see that it works perfectly. Once it goes out the door, it is yours!
We played many hours on this system. You, your family and friends will, too!
