4 PEICE YANKEE DIVISON UNIFORM OVERCOAT,JACKET, FELT HAT, PANTS,FIELD INSIGNIA

Description

This is a Yankee Division uniform, is above good condition, the overcoat and jacket have original made insignia . YD for Yankee division, this group was made up of NEW ENGLAND NATIONAL GUARD,who had been chasing Poncho Villa, and were enlisted and trained and were the first to go. This is a very early uniform, having the original hat ,with cord, 7 1/4 size, the quilted pants ,and the jacket, with the original rank of corporal, and three years service, and the disk showing he was medical , the three years are gold ballooned. I'm sure that the one size fits all uniform, has cut and not re hemmed the pants easy fix. This is a rare grouping many of these men never came back, 1,587, died ,12,077 wounded from this division, many from Boston. I have another grouping of 7 items from 5th Army Air Corp , from WW2 I just put on so take a look at my other items.
