I'm offering over 2,900 photographs / files of Ordnance and Quartermaster Departments blueprint drawings from the collection the the US Army Quartermaster Museum. 9.16 Gigabites burned to 3 DVDs. These are not something that I went on the internet and downloaded. Earlier this year my son and I traveled to Fort Lee and personally photographed all the small sheet drawings in their collection. Drawings date from the late 1910s to about 1956 with a majority dated to WWII. These are the drawings for ordnance type items that the US Quartermaster made or purchased. Topics range from Webgear, Horse Equipment, Insignia, Kitchen and Field Ovens, Bake Trailers, Tents and Tool Kits. Each photo was cropped, cleaned up and orginized into folders. We photographed everything in the small print collection. These drawings were printed some years ago from microfilm. There were printed on 18" x 24" paper and placed in binders. About 10% of the drawings are doubles since there were doubles in the collection. That said, there is lots and lots of information here. There is lots that I'm sure you have never seen before. I'm selling these to share the information and to cover the cost of the trip. Gas , meals and hotel add up quick. Sales of this disc aid in paying for further reseach trips to the National Archives and other museum collections. I was asked a question about duplication of information and shipping concerning this disc set and another set I offer. Here is my response. There is only minor overlap on the two different sets of discs. The overlap is on items that were originally made at RIA and then later by Jeffersonville. These items include mostly horse equipment that did not change from the WWI era into WWII. Purchasing both groups would not give you any major duplication. If you buy both sets, please wait for an invoice for shipping. I do my best to describe everything I sell. If you have any questions, please ask. I will do my best to answer in a timely manner. All payments are due within 5 days. I sell military stuff for the most part and have been a collector for more than twenty years. I feel that I know a fair amount about uniforms and equipment of the 1900 to 1945 time period. If I'm not descibing an item correctly, please let me know. I'm always ready to learn more. Please don't call me an idiot for not knowing everything about everything I sell. What I sell is from my collection and the collections of friends and an occasional find at the shows. This is not my full time business. Everything in my Ebay store is military except for the occasional item gleaned from a closet that my wife has told me to sell. I don't sell crap. If it is crap, I'll tell you so. Remember 60 to 100 year old canvas, web and leather is old. Its not meant for usage in the field. Payments expected within 5 days. ATTN OVERSEAS BUYERS; ALL PACKAGES ARE SHIPPED PRIORITY MAIL AND CUSTOMS FORMS ARE PRINTED WITH FULL EBAY VALUES ON THEM. I'M SORRY IF YOUR GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO CHARGE YOU IMPORT DUTIES. ALL BUYERS: IF YOU WISH TO ALSO BID ON ITEMS THAT MAY BE CLOSING AT A LATER DATE, PLEASE COMMUNICATE THAT WITH ME. I HAVE NO PROBLEM HOLDING ONTO A FEW ITEM FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS TO SAVE YOU MONEY ON SHIPPING.
