    Description

THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE DISPLAY SHIPPED AT RANDOM!
1A  This display is of an Authentic  Mosasaurus "Dinosaur of the Sea" fossilized tooth.  It is showcased in a glass dome display that is approx. 1 3/4" x 1" and has a glass dome with a wood bottom.  The tooth is displayed on a rock, I felt it was fitting since the tooth has turned to stone. Sometimes in shipping the tooth will come loose from the rock or the rock from the base, just take a hair dryer and heat the glue for a few seconds and you will be able to put it right back in place or just a drop of any kind of glue will do the trick as well.  There are 10 total with a few just a tad bigger than the others in a slightly larger dome (2 x 1") and all will be shipped at random so one person will be the lucky one to receive the larger one.  As shown in the pictures some might have the very tip broke off or have been glued back together at a fracture point but in way no does it take away from the display.  They have already been packed up so it will be the luck of draw on the larger one!
    Fun Facts:
This dinosaur was in the "Jurassic Park" movie.
Mosasurus lived in the late cretaceous Period.  They were not Dinosaurs, but giant lizards that grew up to 60 feet long. They adapted from living on the land to living in the water, evolving to have tails similar to a shark and paddle-liker limbs.  These features made then very fast swimmers!  They lived near the surface of the ocean and did not swim very deep.  The Mosasaurus ate Fish, Turtles, smaller Mosasaurus , Ammonites, and other sea animals.
A Mosasaurus is comparable to a modern day Komodo Dragon.  The Mosasaurus is one of the most Terrifying predators to live in Earths oceans.
Lived during the Late Cretaceous Period
Lived in oceans all around the world
Was about as long as a modern North Pacific right whale
Weighed as much much as a modern Sperm whale
    Ate fish, shellfish and squids
    Origin:  Phosphate mines, Morocco
Period:   Late Cretaceous-70-66 Million Years ago
    Species:  M. Hoffmannii
    M. Conodon, M. Lemonnirei, M Missouriensis
Of course we pack each item to the best of our ability to guard against any damage and don't usually have any problems or issues.
With these teeth however we have noticed that sometimes the glue does not hold (as they are a little heavy) in the shipping process, you may have to reglue the tooth to the rock or the rock to the base once you receive.  Due to the weight of the tooth I cannot guarantee that it won't happen but just a dab of hot glue (or any other) will do the trick.
