Description
For sale is a 1970 Bronze/Copper Wichita Centennial Coin. The Wichita Centennial was the first year a Wichita River Festival was held. There was no River Festival in 1971 but an annual celebration was started in 1972 and continues today as the Wichita Riverfest. Because of the relationship of the Centennial to the River Festival, most Riverfest button collectors also collect the Centennial Coins. The coin is in excellent condition but is dull from ageing like a copper penny. It can be polished to a brilliant sheen if desired. Free local pickup is available. I will combine shipping costs with other purchases.
