1968-1972 Pontiac LeMans, Tempest, GTO convertible top frame bushing rebuild kit

Here is an item that always wears out but until now has not been available. On your
1968-72 Pontiac Tempest, LeMans or GTO convertible
the convertible top frame is completely riveted together except for the first hinge point at the rear of the frame.  The first hinge point on the side rail takes the most abuse and often wears out causing the top to bind, be crooked or hard to open and close. With the addition of CNC equipment we are able to make many of the parts that in the past were unavailable,
this kit comes with 2 machined bronze flanged bushings as well as a new machined bolt and proper thin nut to replace your worn parts.
This kit will repair one side rail
,
it only fits the first hinge joint
(see pictures) as all of the other linkages and hinge points are riveted together from the factory. If you need to rebuild both of your side rails then you would need to order 2 kits.
