    Description

Here is a part that always seems to get lost or it is rusted away, this is the
    boot slide rail
that mounts to the back side of the rear seat and it fits the
    1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle and Malibu.
    This metal channel is
    43" long
    and has
8 pre punched holes for mounting
, it fastens to the back side of the rear seat or divider and the front edge of the convertible top boot slides into it when installing the boot. The boot will have a flap of material sewn into the forward edge, this piece of material will slide into the boot slide rail from the end and will hold the boot tight so it will not sag. Some cars came with no slider and the boot uses Velcro to attach to the rear seat, after time the Velcro will not hold properly and the boot will sag or flap in the wind, now you can switch to the slide rail style and not have to worry about it any more.
