    Description

    HOMEMAKER BADGE
    INTERMEDIATE GIRL SCOUTS
    Fully Sewn, 1955 - 1962
This Intermediate Girl Scout Badge is
    HOMEMAKER.
It is an early Intermediate design that was first issued in this finished edge in 1955.  Because it is FULLY SEWN, you cannot tell the difference between the 1955 covert fabric and the 1960 Light Green fabric.  Either way it is not hard to find, but the badge became obsolete in this green border because in 1963 it was moved to the newly formed Cadette level and changed to a Yellow Border. So that means for your collection you can label it:
    ·
    #4 - ME
(Merrow Edged) with a dark green border from 1955.
    ·
OR, it could be applied to
    #5b - Light Green
    (see below.)
These are in Excellent Condition.  Most are NEW.  Some have sewing marks around the outside edge.  Some with sewing holes that show only when held to the light.  NO fading.  BEST GOES FIRST.  I
