    A neat 1878 proof only issue, key date twenty cent piece graded PR 35 by PCGS. This coin carries great detail for the grade with an attractive dark patina that matches nicely throughout both sides. Please note: on the reverse between twenty and cents this is not a scratch on the coin but actually an eyelash in the PCGS holder. We are not quite sure how they missed this over at quality control.
    This key date coin is very seldom offered in this grade level. With a mintage of only 600, it is definitely one of the key to the series. At the time of this listing this coin is one of only three coins graded PR 35 by PCGS. There have currently been no coins graded lower for this proof issue date.
