    Description

This is an authentic Carcharodontosaurus saharicus dinosaur tooth. This tooth measures in at about 1.8 inches, which puts it in the middle of the size range for our current teeth. This tooth has a rich orangey brown color, and shows poor to moderate quality serrations. The enamel surface is very nice. All of our fossils are legally collected and sold.
Carcharodontosaurus was one of the largest theropod dinosaurs to ever live, rivaling even Tyrannosaurus rex, Spinosaurus, and Giganotosaurus in size. Carcharodontosaurus lived in what is now Africa from about 100.5 to 93.9 million years ago, and would have preyed upon very large dinosaurs, such as Paralititan and Ouranosaurus. Carcharodontosaurus gets its name from its teeth, which strongly resemble the teeth of great white sharks, who belong to the genus Carcharodon.
The perfect addition to your fossil collection! If you have any questions, please ask!
