    Description

    Species: Aquilarhinus palimentus
    Formation: Aguja Formation
    Location: Brewster County, Texas
    Age: 81-77 mya, Cretaceous
This is an authentic hadrosaur tooth from the Aguja Formation. There is no restoration or repair on this specimen. This is a nice spit tooth with a recognizable shape and brown enamel. This tooth is labeled as Aquilarhinus palimentus, as it is the only hadrosaur species currently known from the formation. However, there were likely multiple different species of hadrosaur in the Aguja fauna that have yet to be discovered, so Hadrosauridae indet. might be a safer label.
